• The composite is very sturdy and won't break, but it does flex and bend during skating. You can feel it. The more you weigh, the more noticeable it is.
• The metal chassis, on the other hand, has no flex at all and maintains its rigidity for a much more powerful stroke and more confident overall skating experience.
• These chassis can accommodate up to 80mm wheels for Medium (M7-M11) sizes, or 82mm wheels for Large sizes (M11.5-M14)
• The brake mechanism is redesigned so that it is much sturdier and has less give. Older model chassis' brakes had more "give".
• The metal is slightly heavier (about 4 oz) than the plastic chassis, resulting in more control and stability around turns.
• The metal chassis has replaceable bolts and hardware, while the plastic chassis uses rivets.
• You will notice the difference immediately when you put them on!
